07:00 AM – Pick-up from Marrakech
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. Once everyone is ready, begin your journey towards Ait Ben Haddou through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains.
Crossing the High Atlas Mountains As we leave Marrakech, we travel towards the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying beautiful landscapes and panoramic views along the way.
The route takes us across the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, located at an altitude of approximately 2,260 metres. This scenic mountain road offers spectacular views of rugged peaks, valleys and traditional Berber villages.
Along the way, we may make short stops at scenic viewpoints so you can take photographs and enjoy the surrounding landscapes.
Visit a Local Argan Oil Cooperative
Depending on the day’s conditions, we will make a short stop at a local Argan oil cooperative. Learn how Argan oil is traditionally produced and discover a selection of authentic Moroccan products made by local women.
You will have time to browse the products and learn more about this important part of Moroccan culture before continuing towards Ait Ben Haddou.
Arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous historical sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Explore the ancient ksar, a fortified village built with traditional earthen architecture. Walk through its narrow alleys, discover historic buildings and enjoy panoramic views over the surrounding landscape.
Ait Ben Haddou is also famous for its connection with the film industry and has been used as a filming location for several international movies and television productions.
Take your time to explore the site, enjoy the atmosphere and capture memorable photographs.
After exploring Ait Ben Haddou, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant of your choice and taste authentic Moroccan dishes while taking in views of the historic kasbah and surrounding landscape.

Ouarzazate is surrounded by spectacular landscapes, ancient kasbahs and valleys, making the region one of the most fascinating destinations in southern Morocco.
Return to Marrakech
After your visit, begin the journey back to Marrakech.
The estimated arrival time in Marrakech is around 7:00 PM, depending on traffic, weather and the stops made during the day.
